I am a caring and professional dog walker and therefore I have my terms and conditions. Please read these before you consider my services for your animal.

  • I will provide my services in a caring and reliable way.

  • Dogs must be socialised to other dogs and children.

  • Whilst walking your dog, I can make a decision to cut short a walk, if necessary, due to extreme weather conditions. This is for the safety of the animal and myself.

  • I do not walk dogs that are in season.

  • I may refuse to work with any banned breeds.

  • I will not be responsible for any veterinary bills for the animal, no matter how they occur, whilst in my care.

  • I ask that all animals should be up to date with flea treatments, worming and vaccinations. Also that they are in good health and are generally of good behaviour.

  • My business cannot be held liable for any loss, injury, or death to the animal, inside or outside of the client's home.

  • All dogs will remain on a lead at all times outside of the home, unless a waiver has been signed.

  • I will not walk more than two dogs together at any one time.

  • My business, nor myself, will be responsible for any damage to the client's property.

  • You must inform me if your animal has, or had, any medical issues since making a booking with me, and that if the animal has any kind of infectious condition, then I reserve the right to refuse to look after the animal.

  • If the client returns early, for any reason, no reductions of fees will be made.

  • The clients will agree to authorise me to handle any emergencies that may arise, but I will make every effort to contact them first.

  • Clients are to provide all essential items for the animal's care, for example food, treats, bedding.

  • The clients should have a responsible back up person to take care of the house and animals in the event of unforseen circumstances, for example, natural disaster or illness. It is a good idea for this to be a neighbour, so they can easily reach the client's home.

  • Dog walking cancellations should include a day's notice or the normal fee will be charged.

  • I reserve the right to deny or stop a service because of financial concerns, inappropriate or uncomfortable situations or safety issues.

  • If I feel a pet in my charge requires emergency supplies, I will provide these then expect reimbursement on the owner's return. e.g. Cat food or litter.

  • Cancellations of cat or small animal sits, made less than a month before the sitting is due to take place, will be charged for at the full amount.

  • If a cancellation is made because of Covid-19 travel restrictions, I may charge an admin fee for the time taken in quoting and administrating your cancelled booking.

  • Clients are required to pay in advance and there will be a fee if a cheque is returned.

  • My business will not be responsible for any keys that the client has mailed to me. There may be a charge for the collection or return of any house keys.
